Cluster: Cognitive Style
6.1 Measure
The non-verbal reasoning measure used is the the short form of the Matrix Reasoning Item Bank (MaRs-IB). Matrix reasoning tasks have commonly been used as measures of cognitive ability, but it should be noted that this is not an IQ test and does not reflect population level norms, and is not designed for use in diagnostic settings. The item bank is from Chierchia et al. (2019) , with the short form developed by Zorowitz, Chierchia, Blakemore, & Daw (2023), with the materials publicly available online .
